These demonstrations are meant to be played in "continuous loop" mode.
Many quicktime players support continuous loop mode (e.g. xanim for Linux, Windows
Media Player etc.), although the default plug-in to most browsers does not.

- 2. The influence of satellites.

The ellipse is always doing the same
thing.
- 3. Effect of satellites persists over static background.

- 4. Effect of satellites persists over a sheet of translating dots.

- 5. Effect of satellites persists at rather large distances.

- 6. Competition between satellites at different distances.
Here there are two sets of satellites. The relative distances
between the ellipse and the satellites is varied.

- 8. Competition between satellites at different depths.
Here there are two sets of satellites. The relative 3D distances
between the ellipse and the satellites is varied.
