MOSIX* is a cluster operating system targeted for high performance computing on Linux clusters, multi-clusters, GPU clusters and Clouds. MOSIX incorporates dynamic resource discovery and automatic workload distribution, commonly found on single computers with multiple processors. In a MOSIX system, users can run applications by creating multiple processes, then let MOSIX seek resources and automatically distribute processes among available nodes, to improve the overall performance.
