SNAP is free for academic use, We are not responsible in any way for the results, data uploaded, or created by the user. However, we will not use data uploaded by a user for our own needs, including any research, without prior consent from the user. The user is charged with responsible use of the site, and may not by any means make an attempt to hack or harm the operations of the site. If we see fit, we may limit the resources we supply to accounts (both in terms of processing time and storage space on the server). As a free site, we reserve the right to remove any user's data at any time. However, the general policy is that removal of data or expiring of an account would be done at least 48h after a notification mail was sent to the mail supplied in the user's account.
