The cameraman drank quite a few tequillas before taking this sequence
Try watching this video sequence
for more then a minute and you will feel drunk yourself.
The main reason for the instability is the rotation of the camera.
Canceling rotations will give you a much smoother sequence.
But how do you compute rotations?
We have developed a robust method for
image stabilization
We recover the rotation directly from the
trilinear tensor ,
thus avoiding the need to recover translation first or
assume the existence of a plane.
