Looking at data is a basic pre-requisite in performance evaluation, and also widely used in other domains. In this exercise we'll look at some published graphs from the press and try to assess them.
The following graphs have been published in the media in recent years.
Look at these graphs and come up with a list of defects in them. What would you do to make them better?
You do not need to submit this exercise. We'll discuss these and other examples in class.
